Firstly, a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your kind words, messages, and time spent viewing my cohort’s work from our ‘remote outreach’. It was a labor of love for sure that will forever be engrained in me as our reaction during a point in our world when every week was packed with manic reactions, brokenness coming to light, and most importantly, hope and change taking seats at the table. If you missed it, you can still see it here.
Secondly, I am now taking commissions through the summer at a sliding rate with 20% of the proceeds going to Inneract Project, a nonprofit in San Francisco that empowers youth who identify as Black and Brown through design education and links them to opportunities to explore design in career and life. Diversity is not only important, it is vital to design and in order to accurately produce that dialogue, you need full representation. And if we’ve learned anything from the past few weeks, education is where it starts. The team at Inneract Project has been fighting for that for the past 15 years here in the city.
Along with the commissions, artwork from the archives will also be available for purchase (unfortunately only shipping in the USA). So if there was a piece that you’ve had your eye on, there’s a chance it could be yours, so don’t wait! Fill out the form below if you’re interested and I’ll be in touch.
